Your Gentle Guide to Bloom Where You're Planted
Welcome. I’m so glad you found your way here.
My name is Amanda Conta Steencken. I’m a neuroanatomist, musician, health coach, and someone who spent decades navigating chronic joint pain before discovering that the answer wasn’t in forcing my body to comply, it was in learning to listen to it.
This newsletter — Bloom Where You’re Planted — is where I share what I’ve learned at the intersection of quantum biology, circadian rhythm, primitive reflex integration, and nervous system safety. It’s science with soul. It’s healing that doesn’t ask you to fight your body, but to come home to it.
If you’re tired of quick fixes that don’t last, if you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, if you’re curious about a gentler way, you’re in exactly the right place.
How This Space Works
Free posts land in your inbox regularly. They’re designed to shift your perspective, to help you see your body, symptoms, and your daily habits through a completely different lens. Think of them as seeds.
The Bloom Library is where we go deeper. this space is for those who want to grow alongside others, with an opportunity to join live every month. Here you have access to LIVE monthly masterclasses with Rhythmic Movement Training, interactive Q&A with me, and ongoing community chat support between sessions. In addition, you get full access to all recorded masterclasses, deep-dive posts, detailed protocols, and some movement demonstrations. This is the kind of nuanced “how-to” that turns insight into real, felt change in your body. Think of this as the soil, the water, and the light. Learn at your own pace, on your own time.
Whether you stay free or go deeper, you’re welcome here.

The Primitive Reflex Series (2026)
I’m currently writing a year-long deep dive into primitive reflexes — what they are, why they matter at every age, and how integrating them can transform pain, anxiety, coordination, emotional regulation, and so much more. This series blends my training as a neuroanatomist with my certification in Rhythmic Movement Training and years of clinical and personal experience.
These posts stay FREE for all. It’s important information that needs to get out. Share with abandon!
New installments drop regularly. If this topic calls to you, subscribe to the paid tier to get how-to, hands-on practices, demonstrations, and community support.

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in Jujuy, Argentina, in the shadow of mountains that taught me patience long before I had words for it. I came to the U.S. for graduate school, earned a PhD in neuroanatomy, and spent years in systems that often overlooked the body’s innate wisdom.
My own healing journey, from decades of chronic pain to a life rooted in rhythm, light, and trust in my body’s design, is what drives everything I share here. I’m not writing from theory alone. I’m writing from the winding, dusty road of lived experience.
You were never meant to do this alone. Let me walk alongside you.
— Amanda
